FEES

AI with Chilled or Fresh Semen

One cycle - £150 + VAT

This price includes:

• All ultrasound scans- pre insemination, post insemination and three pregnancy scans at the 14, 28 and 45 day marks.
• Routine drugs like chorulon or ovuplant and prostaglandin.
• Insemination.
• Microscopic semen evaluation at insemination.
• All paper work and certification.
  
  The price does not include any non routine things like pre-pregnancy swabs, twin reductions, caslicks, sedation, uterine lavage, endometritis treatment as most normal mares will not require any of these additional treatments.
  This means you won’t pay for treatments that your mare doesn't receive.

  AI with Frozen Semen
  
  One cycle - £250 + VAT
  
  This price includes:

• All ultrasound scans- pre insemination, post insemination and three pregnancy scans at the 14, 28 and 45 day marks.
• Routine drugs like chorulon or ovuplant and prostagladin.
• Insemination.
• Microscopic semen evaluation at insemination.
• All paper work and certification
  Additionally to the chilled/fresh cycle it includes
• More intensive scanning to perfectly time insemination and ovulation
• Storage or frozen semen for the season
  
  Please note that here at LLEP there is NO Insemination fee and No In-foal fee
  
  
  For fresh chilled semen we are very happy to come to your yard and visits will be charged at half the normal visit price when you have paid for a cycle.
  However we do have stocks at Kilduff which make scanning much easier and may minimise the need for sedation if you have an anxious mare. We will not risk any of our members of staff behind mares that are prone to kicking so if you do not have a set of stocks then sedation will be necessary.
  If you would like to bring the mare into us you can either bring her to us each day she needs a scan or alternatively leave her here for the few days over her ovulation period which is the most intensive scanning time.

  Due to the equipment and precision timing required for successful AI with frozen semen mares for frozen semen will need to stay at the clinic for the few days around insemination.
